Spring Youth Swim CampYouth RecreationCoach Schneider Love the water? Here's your chance to learn to be a competitive swimmer! This camp will give you an introduction to all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly), teach you corresponding turns for each, and show the proper technique for racing starts off the blocks. The last day of class will include a fun mini-meet. Must be able to swim 25 yards of front crawl without stopping. Register by March 27 to guarantee a t-shirt. Our licensed staff will facilitate learning experiences using a play-based learning approach. Park Play Camps are committed to offering the balance of self-directed and self-driven learning through inquiry, play, and freedoms to design & create. Campers can expect to engage in healthy risk-taking and “soft”/”essential”/”life” skills (i.e. the interpersonal attributes of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creation).
